Hospitali ya Mkoa Kagera yapatiwa maabara ndogo ya kuchunguza dawa bandia

limefanikiwa kukamata bunduki mbili zilizokuwa zikitumika katika matukio
mbalimbali ya ujambazi ,ikiwemo utekaji na ujangili pamoja na risasi 78
zinazotumika katika bundukia aina ya SMG/SAR.
Kamanda wa polisi mkoani hapa,
Philip Kalangi alisema kuwa silaha hizo zimepatikana kutokana na msako
unaoendeshwa na jeshi hilo ambapo bado unaendelea katika wilaya zote za mkoa
huu ili kuwabaini na kuwakamata wale wanaojihusisha na vitendo vya uharifu.
Kamanda Kalangi alizitaja silaha
hizo kuwa ni SMG yenye namba za usajili KO 17753 na Gobole moja pamoja na
risasi 78 na magazine tatu tupu zikiwa zimefukiwa ndani ya mashimo mawili
tofauti nje ya nyumba.
Alisema Agosti 11 mwaka huu saa 4.25
usiku katika kijiji cha Sasa Maharage, kata ya Lusahunga Wilayani Biharamulo
polisi waliweka mtego na kufanikiwa kumkamata, Kazuba Misigwa (41) ambaye alikuwa akimiliki SMG ambapo
alikiri baada ya kukamatwa na kuwapeleka polisi na kuwaonyesha shimo ambalo
walifukua na kukuta silaha hiyo na risasi 78 na magazine tatu tupu zikiwa zimefungwa
kwenye kiroba.
Alisema baada ya kumhoji zaidi
alimtaja mwenzake mwingine aitwaye ,Alex Emmanuel (35)mkazi wa kitongoji
chaNyangamagulu eneo la Nyakahula Mizani Wilayani Biharamulo ambaye pia
alikamatwa na kuhojiwa alikiri na kuonyesha silaha nyingine aina ya gobole
iliyotengenezwa kienyeji.
Waliendelea kuhojiwa ndipo wakakiri
kuwa silaha hizo wamekuwa wakizitumia kwa pamoja katika matukio mbalimbali ya
kiuhalifu na ujangili yaliyokuwa yakitokea katika maene mbalimbali ya mkoa huu
na mikoa mingine.
Alisema kutokana na kauli hizo za
watuhumiwa hao jeshi hilo linaendelea kuwahoji kwa kina ili kuyabaini matukio
hayo waliyoyafanya, wahusika wengine na maeneo ili waweze kufanya ufuatiliaji
zaidi.
Hata hivyo, zaidi ya silaha 45 zimeweza kusalimishwa na
wananchi mbali mbali wiki tatu zilizopita hadi Agosti 19 mwaka huu.
Hatua hiyo ni kutokana na agizo la Rais Jakaya
Mrisho Kikwete alipokuwa katika ziara ya kikazi mkoani Kagera la kuwataka
wanaomiliki silaha kinyume cha sheria kuzisalimisha kabla hawajakumbwa na msako
mkali unaotarajiwa kuanza muda wowote.
Alisema hadi sasa jumla ya wahamiai haramu 10,035 wameondoka nchini kwa hiari yaohadi kufikia jana.
